To develop, agree and execute sales strategy, ensuring optimum trading profits at acceptable risk for both corporate and retail segment and where appropriate
influence the development of the market.



Develop and agree objectives in terms of trading style and revenue targets with the Head of Treasury Sales. Monitor and review performance in terms of risk
appetite per client/portfolio (Corporate and Retail) displayed and achievement against targets in Northern zone.
Manage the market risks through recommended trading limits /lines for merchants, monitoring performance and positions against these limits.
Stimulate the flow of market views and information within the Treasury, and within the wider Exim network.
Manage merchant relationships in partnerships with other front-end and ensuring that Treasury Department gives right solutions to client (Corporate and
Retail)ever changing needs.
Establish and maintain contacts with current and target customers, regulatory authorities, and Exim Product partners.
Contribute to the development of Treasury products, in commercial markets, to meet current and future customer requirements and the Bank’s funding needs.
Liaise with the facilitating and support areas in Exim (IT, Operations, Finance, Risk etc) to achieve mutual understanding, and alignment between the Treasury
business and the control processes and support service availability.
Ensure compliance to all bank and treasury policies Frameworks.
Undertake other duties assigned by the Department Head and management from time to time.


. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business-related field.
. ACI Dealing Certificate preferred.
· At least 2 years’ experience in money market trading or a closely related field in a bank.
. Good understanding of financial market dynamics.
· Good interpersonal and communication (including oral presentation and writing) skills.
. Strong capability for negotiation.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
