DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Folding hard paper and making covers for books, magazines, and notebooks as needed by gluing, assembling, or stitching in various levels of quality.
ii. Repairing books, various records, or magazines by providing new covers or restoring them to their original state depending on the extent of damage.
iii. Arranging the finished products in boxes according to their measurements or in sets.
iv. Operating paper cutting machines, printing machines, composing machines, stitching or gluing machines for books, magazines, notebooks, and other required items according to the specified style and quality.
v. Arranging papers to be printed according to the count for each book, magazine, notebook, etc., to be stitched or glued together.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Recruitment is open to graduates of Form Four or Form Six with studies in Science or Arts, possessing a Trade Test Grade I or Level III certificate in lithography/composing/binding/machine binding, or those who have completed two years of printing training.
